Bello Abdullahi Birchi is a PhD holder of Technical and Instructional Technology Education at the Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic, Katsina. He was born on 15^th March, 1966 in Birchi Ward of Kurfi Local Government area in Katsina State. He obtained his NCE and Bachelor Degree in Technical Education with specialization in Metalwork Technology from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1988 and 1994 respectively. He further obtained a Master and PhD Degree in Instructional Design and Technology from the International Islamic University Malaysia in 2011 and 2018. Bello Birchi is a Chief lecturer in Technical Education Department in Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic and a visiting Senior lecturer in Instructional Technology in the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University Katsina, Katsina State.

Bello Birchi is a season educationist and a researcher who has been in the continuous service of the Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic for the past twenty-five years in both Academic and Administrative positions. Bello distinguished himself among his contemporaries through hard work and dedication to academic pursuit in the department and the institution as a whole. He is an active member of various professional bodies both National and International. He relates very well and moves along with others from within and outside the Polytechnic. He has been two time Chairman of the academic staff of the Polytechnic between (1997-1999 and 2014-2016) respectively, during which he represents the Polytechnic academic staff at the academic and professional fora in both the state and National levels. He also served as Chairman Joint Consultative Forum (JCF) of Katsina state Tertiary institutions for four years (2014-2018). He is currently the Chairman of the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) of the Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic staff school and live Patron of the Old Boys Association of Government Secondary School Birchi, in Kurfi local government area of Katsina state.

Bello is happily married with children.

Jamilu Danyaro Kankia holds B.Ed Technical (Metalwork Technology) from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria, M.Ed Industrial Technical Education from University of Nigeria Nsukka, Nigeria, PhD Technical and Vocational Education from University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. Chief lecturer, in the Department of Technical Education, College of Vocational and Technical Education, Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic Katsina State Nigeria, where he teaches at NCE, degree and post graduate levels, Mechanical Engineering drawing, Entrepreneurship in TVET, curriculum development, TVET teaching methodology and other Technical and vocational courses. He had several administrative responsibilities. A member of several professional bodies, reviewer of national and international Journals. He has books to his credit published and scholarly articles (both at national and international level). He is married and blessed with children.
